Tascam FW/Maverick - Apple Community

I did download Tascams Driver, but I have never tried to use the FW as an interface only as a controller. At this point the Mac was able to veiw the Tascam as an audio device, but the tascam would not function as a controller. Nov 15, 9: I'll look into a firewire bus, as this is propbably the main reason my iMac failed to recognize the Tascam in the first instance. Install the drivers, shut down the computer. FW-1884 drivers

Has anyone had any sucess? Unplug FW from the computer and do not plugi in it for now. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. Mavericks is all great and stable, wonder if it is so having opted out any minimally potential issue at max expenses.
